Thank you...

During three months not in my hometown, in Ojai Valley School, there was a lot of happened, and I always think about people in Korea. I miss and thanks to my mom, grandmother and my friends.

First of all, I want to say “thank you” to my mom. She is my own textbook. She teaches me how to behave, how to walk, how to speak, and most importantly, she raises me, and makes me a good girl. She makes opportunity to study in America.

Secondly, I’m thanks to my grandmother who is my second text book. When I was young, I had to stay with my grandmother almost all day because my mom was too busy. My grandmother always takes care of me. At that year, I really want to stay with my mom and I resentment my mom. However, as you know, looking after someone is not an easy job. So, I really love my grandmother and thanks to her.

Lastly, I am grateful for my friends in Korea. Actually, my friends are my last textbook. If my friend makes a mistake, I always think I will never do that again. Also, we can study together and teach each other when we have test. Sometimes, when I have a test, I miss them and grateful to them.

In conclusion, I want to see mom, grandmother, and friends as soon as possible. In addition, when I back to Korea, I will say “Thank you” to all of them.

Class In Camping Trip.

I went my first camping trip with 8th friends few weeks ago in the rain, and it was a great trip. I have to go camping, because all 8th go camping trip. Fortunately, there was a birthday in camping trip. Also, I learned many useful things. I learn how to cook, how to bowl and how to avoid rain during the camping trip.

First of all, I learned how to cook. On our second day, our homeroom made many pancakes. We mixed water and pancake flour, then, bake them. Also, I learned how to make sandwiches. Sandwiches were really easy to make. Put cheese, ham, turkey and peanut butter between two slices of breads. I like to cook. So It was really fun.

Secondly, I learned how to bowling. There was a lot of rain on the third day. So we had to eat breakfast in our tent and stay in there or play cards. So, we went to bowl. It was the first time that I play bowled. I learned how to play bowling from my friends. Choose a ball, count three steps and roll a ball. Of course, I wasn’t in the top10, but I had a great time.

At last, we learned how to avoid the rain during the our camping trip. During this camping trip , it rained a lot. So we have to eat breakfast in our tent and rebuild a tent. If it’s rain during camping, we have to gather our camping equipments to middle of the tent; because we don’t want to our camping equipments get wet.

In conclusion, I had a fantastic time in first camping trip. Now I can teach other people how to cook, bowl and avoid the rain during camping. I’m really happy that I learn many things and I hope I can go camping again next year.

Embarrassing Moment

When I was eleven years old, I was in a “singing contest” at school. I had to wait a long time because I was almost the last person. During the waiting time I worried about the lyrics. I always sang the wrong  lyrics when I practiced songs with my teacher. Finally, it was my turn. I was really nervous and my heart was beating. I went up to stage and started to sing a song called “At the Beach.” I picked this song because my cousin sang the same song last year and he won. I started to sing. But, during the singing I forgot the lyrics. I was flustered and embarrassed. Everyone was watching me and my friends were laughing. So I restarted the song. I was not a winner but it is a funny memory.
